Therefore, you should start with the three basic points of selecting high-quality connectors, so that you do not make mistakes on the connectors.

Basic points: environmental parameters
Its environmental parameters include ambient temperature, humidity, sudden change of temperature, air pressure, corrosion, etc. The environment in which connectors are used, stored and transported has an important impact on their performance, so corresponding connectors shall be selected according to the actual environmental conditions. Due to the cracking or delamination of insulating materials caused by temperature change, humidity change test must be carried out to simulate the actual use of connector devices in cold environment. Corrosive environment According to the different corrosive environments of the connectors used, select the connectors with corresponding metal, plastic and coating structures, such as those used in salt spray environment. If there is no corrosion resistant metal surface, the performance will decline sharply. Silver plated contactors should not be used in an environment containing SO2 of considerable concentration. Basic point 2: connection mode
The connection modes mainly include threaded type, bayonet type and bullet type.
1. The threaded connection has the advantages of simple processing technology, low manufacturing cost, wide application range, etc., but the connection speed is slow, so it is not suitable for the occasion where frequent plugging and pulling, fast and continuous are required.
2. The manufacturing of bayonet connection is more complex and expensive.
3. The bullet type connection is the fastest of the three connection methods. It does not require rotary motion, but only requires linear motion to realize the functions of connection, separation, locking, etc.

Basic point 3: terminal mode
Wiring mode refers to the contact and connection mode between connector and wire or cable. The reasonable selection of termination methods and the correct use of termination technologies are also important aspects of selecting high-quality connectors. Specifically, it can be divided into four categories;
1. The most important thing for tin welding connection is that there should be metal continuity between the tin material and the surface to be welded. Therefore, solderability is crucial for high-quality connectors. Winding is to directly wind the wire to the contact post with edges and corners.
2. Winding: the winding is wound under the control of tension, pressed and fixed on the corners of the contact winding column to form an airtight contact.
3. Crimping is a technology to compress and move metal within specified limits and connect metal wires to contact pairs. A good crimping connection can produce metal mutual fusion flow, so that the conductor and the contact are deformed symmetrically.
4. The connection mode of screw type connection terminals shall be used. Pay attention to the maximum and minimum cross sections of the allowed connecting wires and the maximum tightening torque allowed for screws of different specifications.
